Pressure is intentionally light and follows a precise sequence. The client remains comfortably positioned while one or more agreed areas are treated. Any suggested course of appointments is discussed only after observing the situation and response to treatment.
Acute infection, fever, certain cardiac conditions or suspected thrombosis contraindicate drainage without medical advice. Mention medical history, surgery and treatment. For diagnosed lymphoedema, coordination with the medical team is essential.
