Cupping at Atelier Serein creates controlled, localised suction on the tissues. It is often chosen by active people or those experiencing muscular tension, with a protocol adapted to the area, skin and purpose of the appointment.
Cups may remain stationary or be moved carefully depending on the selected technique. Duration and suction are adjustable. Temporary circular marks are possible; their appearance, usual progression and aftercare are explained before application.
Mention anticoagulant medication, bleeding disorders, skin lesions or recent surgery. Cups are not placed on vulnerable tissue. Acute pain, significant swelling or recent trauma require appropriate medical advice first.
